I Know I Made You Smile By Carl Agostino : Let the Children Come to Me (Reblogged and Updated- My Words Only Sarah- July 25, 2015, Sunday) )

Let the children come to me.

I first posted this on April 11, 2015.
I saw the post again while visiting my archives and decided it was “TOO GOOD” not to be reblogged. @Carl Agostino  He deserves all the credit.
This verse has always reminded me of a children’s Bible story book my grandma gave me. It had a yellow cover and a picture of Jesus and the little children.
A few years later my aunt Sandy gave me one for the next age level. It had a blue cover and another picture of Jesus and the little children on it.
When I was Confirmed, my aunt gave me a beautiful engraved Bible. In it were the words
From Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the children come to me “…
From Luke 18 -16

There’s a book out by the same name :  Let the Children Come to Me
Bible Stories for Children
by Sharon Burton

“Let the children come to me” .

Enough said.
I’d like to thank @Carl Agostino again for the memories.
I loved the books as a child and when I had Bobby I started reading them to him and his cousins.
Memories are precious.
Have a good weekend.

  1. Do you deliver? I am starving and pasta salad sounds wonderful. I hope you enjoyed the potluck at your church. I really miss going to church. I taught Sunday School for years. Vacation Bible School every Summer.
Now I can’t get Danny to go with me at all. I have to admit, I don’t like to go by myself, especially when I haven’t been feeling well.
Have a good week. I always enjoy talking with you.
Hugs to you and your dad.

  2. Yes, father and I are about to leave for 11 AM service at Faith Presbyterian Church here in Greensboro, NC. The last Sunday of the month is covered dish luncheon and of course we are bringing the macaroni salad. Blessings , in Christ…
