- I’m going to try and get this out before midnight. I will be cutting it close.
Between the slow internet and the computer that kept freezing today I got even more behind. Why I keep trying to down load a bunch of photos when I know it slows the internet down even more, I don’t know. Well, actually, I do I need pictures in my posts.
So I keep trying to upload more and more.
First up for tonight:
I think biscuits, gravy and fried chicken are 3 comfort foods that either are easy for you to make or somehow you never got the knack of it.
I can make all 3 but then I had awesome teachers.

ADINA STEIMANI copied and pasted the following:
“The cliché, in this case, turns out to be true: Biscuits benefit from TLC. Peacock recommends White Lily flour, one of the lightest available, along with lard for a flaky texture so fluffy and airy that the biscuits almost float off the plate. One bite may well move you to tears—either with memories of your southern grandmother, or with regret for not having had a southern grandmother.”

I love posting Southern Recipes . But then I love posting New England and Mid West and other areas as well. I always want to laugh when they make it sound like you have to be a Southerner to know how to make biscuits or gravy or chicken. I am a Northerner, living in Florida. (Of course I was from Southern Illinois). Yes, I am a Yankee.
Not sure why I had to add that but I did.
It is a good write up and the recipe looks good as well.
I went to see if there was a fried chicken recipe or the side of gravy to go with the biscuits.
I did find something interesting.
An event for food bloggers.

And the cost is: Copied and Pasted the following:
$195: Active Food Bloggers
$495: Non-Bloggers(Industry, Media Relations Professionals, etc.)”
That would be fun. Way of of my price range though.
It’s a huge event. Looks awesome.

I am fascinated lately with Small Homes and Apartment stories. Wish we could downsize a bit. As much as I love this house, I miss the RV more than I ever thought possible.
That’s it for tonight. I will just about make it.
