I wish I would have had more time to take all the photos I wanted. I wished I would have brought my old camera even though the LCD Light doesn’t work and I can’t see what I am taking.

No I took my Smartphone not thinking that the battery won’t stay charged long. That it was messing up and hard to use.
The battery died right after lunch….Everyone else took pictures at lunch. I could have gotten those from someone else…
I wanted to take pictures of the beautiful gardens….Of the towers. It is so peaceful there.
The first place I fell in love with in Florida.

There is an elevator that goes part way up. It lets you out at the library. There is a huge library about a third of the way up. After the elevator you have to climb a very narrow straight up- latter right past the huge Carillon Bills and the organ. It is awesome…Scary and not to be missed…And only a few special people get the opportunity to do so…. A private tour is not given very often… Danny got one for me (for Us). Back in 2006,

I couldn’t walk up to the tower that day so we rode in a goft cart.

  1. I was there almost 2 years ago. Thank you for sharing your pictures, took me back to my trip. It was really beautiful and I remember sitting under a tree and just dreaming. Hopefully I will make it back that way again.

I totally understand that you couldn’t stop taking pics or posting pics. Every little detail is special. Beautiful. Thank you for sharing, Sarah!

    1. Erika,
It is a beautiful place. The Tower is really a work of art. I love the grounds mainly because there is color here and we don’t see a lot of color normally. Green and browns…..
I like the fact that it is on a hill. We have flat land everywhere else.
I never get tired of seeing it.

      1. Erika Kind says:

Wonderful, I feel your excitement through your words 🙂

        1. It was a good day. 🙂

  4. Beautiful pictures! I love the air plants-they remind me of spider plants here. Very very very beautiful grounds indeed!

    1. They are very much like spider plants…..

      1. They’re so cool!

  5. Vibrant says:

You are a wonderful photographer Sarah and you love the same things I do, clouds, gardens and beautiful people and open spaces 🙂

    These pictures are heartwarming.

Have a great time and say my hello to Danny.

    Anand 🙂

    1. Thank you. I just wish I had a working camera to take pictures. The one I have I can see what I am taking and can’t adjust the settings…The LCD light is out.
My camera that Danny bought me over a year ago wore out….Literally wore out. I took thousands and thousand of photos. Sometimes a thousand in a day. Well, may be not that many but you get the picture. Hugs Anand.
