Reblogged From McCallum’s Shamrock Patch -Italian Sausage and Vegetable Soup

I love home made soups. This one is one of my favorites. Even Danny enjoys it with Italian Bread. YUMMY,. Thanks Heidy of McCallum’s Shamrock Patch for sharing this family recipe.
Italian Vegtable and Sausage SoupDoesn’t this look wonderful?
I can eat soup all year long but love it more when the temperatures drop.
This one is full of veggies and has a wonderful broth.
Add in the Italian Sausage meatballs and you have a huge hit.
Now all you need is some hot buttered Italian bread and you have a meal fit for a king. Or a queen and her loved ones.
Check out all the wonderful recipes that Heidy posts. Full of family history and Italian History in general.

    1. Danny never used to be a soup fan unless he was sick. Now he loves them.
      Homemade beats canned any day.

      1. I only use canned soup in the occasional recipe. I always make my own now.

        1. Canned Soups have their use. I love Tomato Soup and will often just open a can and add milk to it.
They are always good to have around. I use some in cooking as well. Not often but sometimes.
