Headed To The Roundup and What I Saw Along The Way

At Home on Rolling Meadows Ranch.
At Home on Rolling Meadows Ranch. Leaving for the roundup. The sun was just hitting our yard

It was 78 degrees. Cool compared to a few weeks ago.

DSCN5730            Someone (ME) needs to MOW.

DSCN5731 I am hoping to get started mowing this weekend. If not, then I will be doing it when Danny is off next week. He is off Monday and Tuesday and is taking Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off. Then he will work the weekend.
He is HOPING TO TAKE THE EXTRA 3 DAYS OFF. IT’S BEEN WAY TOO LONG SINCE HE HAS HAD ANY REAL TIME OFF.

The ground is drying out after  being flooded        for months.DSCN5757            The birds are still around, although not as        many since the water is receding more and more.

It is 2 miles to The Lake Kissimmee State Park        Entrance. The property all both sides belongs
to the State. On the right is LKSP and on the          left is still Rolling Meadows Ranch.

If you look closely, there is a momma  and baby deer. DSCN5770       LOOK AT THE MOMMA AND BABY DEER

DSCN5772      THE BABY WAS AS INTERESTED IN ME AS I            WAS INTO THEM.

DSCN5773           STILL WATCHING EACH OTHER

DSCN5774I WAS GLAD THERE WASN’T ANOTHER TRUCK COMING SO I DIDN’T HAVE TO MOVE.

THEY ARE STILL THERE.

             THE BABY FINALLY TOOK OFF.
DSCN5783I JUST WENT THROUGH COW CAMP GATE HEADING TOWARDS THE OLD WOODEN BRIDGE.
CROSSING OVER ZIPPRER CANAL.

TO BUSTER ISLAND.

I am really ANGRY HERE. FRUSTRATED. I just lost about an hours worth of editing the Roundup Photos. They JUST VANISHED.

So I decided to go ahead and break this up as a separate post.  Retitled it.
I was on my way to the ROUNDUP.
YIPPEE. I was HAPPY. FEELING GOOD.

Love Sarah
