Laughing because I loved this post and I really don’t care about SHOES.

My real name is Debra (Debbie Sue). Sarah is a nickname given to me in high school. My husband has always called me that so here in Florida It's all I am known by. I was born and raised in Illinois. My son and I moved to Colorado in 1982. I taught school for 17 years. Then I ran a homeschooling/preschool/daycare until 2006 when I moved to Florida after my son, Bobby died suddenly. He was almost 26. Danny and I live and work at a state park here. I miss the mountains and climate of Colorado. I miss snow and the four seasons. I miss Bobby.

I’m not a ‘shoe’ person either, but in my time I was. Now it’s flats, flats and more flats and honestly how many in that style can one have? I miss the days of stilettos and really cute boots with heels and open toed sandals with a high heel. If I tried walking in those now though, my legs would rebel. Strangely enough the podiatrist (although he didn’t say so) puts the blame for my shortened achilles tendons on the flat shoes. I guess walking around in heels does do something for us! 🙂
I was just never into them. I did have a pair of dress sandals with high heels that I loved in my early 20’s.
