I can’t see or read enough about family and friends and being THANKFUL.
It is a shame we only focus on it during the month of November.
I am working hard on my attitude here at home. There’s been an overall improvement but oh do I have a long way to go.
Anger took a long time infecting my mind and it seems it is going to take a long time to rid myself of it.
I am rambling as I often do.
As a result of how I feel, I am sharing more posts about Thanksgiving. Thankfulness. Gratitude. Letting go of anger.
My FAITH is strong and I am reading and studying more. Here’s a wonderful post about Thankful Living.
As you know, I have started Meditating,Or at least reading everything I can about it.
Not just meditation but everything involved in relaxing and refocusing my mind.
So instead of focusing on what’s “wrong” in our lives, our pastor, David, asked us to spend the month of November focusing on our blessings and the things for which we do (or should) give thanks. He referred to it as a “month of thanks-living.” His idea really struck me because, frankly, I’m not a particularly thankful person. If the truth be told, I’m more likely to complain about the rain, the co-worker, or the internet connection than I am to thank God and others for all of the good things in my life.
