From Sarah:
I am continuing Making Your Home A Haven during the Month of December . On my own. I will be sharing OUR stories from Our Neck Of The Woods and Rolling Meadows Ranch.
I will be adding stories about family life and the struggles we face every day.
Mainly I will focus on the Joy and Peace that come from MAKING YOUR HOME A HAVEN this Advent Season and always.
Long Post from me at the end. What I am doing for Advent/ Christmas.
I have to admit: It is nice to be a bit more comfy in our homes.
Candles Everywhere
I still have a few Turkey Decorations Out. I am just not ready for Fall to be over. We haven’t had one yet.
Pumpkin Apple Pie
Long Walks With Your Family,
Thank you to all of you who have either added this Series to the POLL (OTHER) from last September
I am in need of more Peace in Our Home. Peace within Me.
November is the month, more than any other when we remember to be thankful. We take care to make our homes a place to be Thankful for.
Don’t let the momentum Stop.
Continue to give thanks this Advent/ Christmas.
Ask yourself as you are Walking Into Your Home the next time: Is Your Home A Haven?
Make this December the best one yet.
Be THANKFUL. Be happy.
Remember that Jesus IS the Reason For The Season.
Life as a whole has been good to me.
I am very thankful for all that I have.
I am already missing the I am Thankful For Posts. We need to have them all year ROUND. Not just during the month of November.
I am Thankful that Advent is here.
I love Christmas and holidays.
Danny and I are celebrating Advent TOGETHER this year. A little. Bite size moments so I don’t overwhelm him. HOLIDAYS were never good for him growing up.
So he is still Mr. BAH HUMBUG Way to often.
I wrapped a few little gifts that I collected this year. Collected as many Advent/ Christmas/ Family Movies as I could find.
Our Tree is up. Long Story there.
Music is playing. Candles are still lit at certain times.
The hard part for me is keeping my spirits up. They took a nose dive Thanksgiving Day.
Loneliness is terrible thing.
I am lonely time of year.
Missing Bobby.
Mom.
Family not here.
I am good overall. Coping as I always do.
And I do it very well.
I am working a lot but have slowed down considerably. I just can’t DO all that I want to. But, then no one ever can.
I am slowly catching up…..I shouldn’t use the term” CATCHING UP ”When I will NEVER CATCH UP.
Laughing here. At least I try,
Happy December.
Love Sarah

I love the “finds” I get when reading through your posts. I read a few things then a wonderful nugget. Then I read another item and find multiple nuggets. It’s like a beautiful treasure hunt. Thanks for sharing.
Focusing on Advent helps slow a person down from the holiday rat race. Cheers to you for focusing on waiting. Smiles and blessings to you on this day.
Frank, I haven’t had internet much of this month…..When It is on it is so slow.
One thing , that has done is give me time for my Advent /Bible Studies. Slowing down IS good. Merry Christmas To you and your wife. Happy Dancing.
