Happy New Year !!!

Shared from Beads And Baubles. Happy New Years . She has some worth while goals and an awesome attitude to go with it.

The newness of the fresh year passes quickly as do many of our resolutions !! Regardless of that, I still find inspiration every new year to start over and do better this year.

I read on another blog that we should all have a word for the new year. One word that will be our inspiration for the year. I have been thinking about it, and I have a phrase instead.

Be better than I was  last year.

My real name is Debra (Debbie Sue). Sarah is a nickname given to me in high school. My husband has always called me that so here in Florida It's all I am known by. I was born and raised in Illinois. My son and I moved to Colorado in 1982. I taught school for 17 years. Then I ran a homeschooling/preschool/daycare until 2006 when I moved to Florida after my son, Bobby died suddenly. He was almost 26. Danny and I live and work at a state park here. I miss the mountains and climate of Colorado. I miss snow and the four seasons. I miss Bobby.

  1. Happy New Year, Sarah! so glad I found you again; been looking and looking – know I should do something different – will try not to let you get away again – so want to talk to you but we have a New Year’s Meeting starting now so may be a while now

      1. Thank goodness it’s working now. My husband was out of town for two weeks and this is the time I wanted to be blogging a lot, but my darn computer decided to go out, also. We are back now 🙂 By the way, I plan on making my French Onion Soup this weekend, I’ll post the recipe this weekend or early next week. (I know you are smiling). Missed connecting with you. Love being back.
