Women Living Well
“In the book of Job we see Job’s misery drag on for months. During this time, his friends added to his pain. Job said of his three friends:
Miserable comforters are you all! (16:2)
Are you a comforter?
When I think of a comforter, I think of a warm quilt. A quilt wraps around a person and makes them feel calm. Job’s friends were the opposite. They added to his misery.
So how do we go on when our misery drags on for months and perhaps your friends are poor comforters?
First let me tell you what NOT to do. ”

“The Good Morning Girls were in Job 19 today..
I love this from @mrsspensley – read what she wrote below.
“For I know that my Redeemer lives, and that at last He will stand upon the earth…” Job 19:25…
I’m sure this will be the most quoted verse of the day, but when I sat down to write this morning, I wondered to myself how much I really grasp that in my life. Do I fully realize that regardless of the trial He has a purpose and a plan for my life, (Jer.29:11-13) and that I need not fear any trial because no one or no thing, no words, no actions of others, no weapons formed against me can prosper because of that very plan for my life? What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (Romans 8:31) Sure, the cards are stacked against me, the skies are black, and oh how the storm is raging, but I know this. My Redeemer lives, and I fully trust that I shall see Him on my side- He will show Himself strong on my behalf, and my eyes shall behold and not another. (Job 19:27)
From the depths of my greatest pains come the greatest victories, and I know that He is there.
Believe. “On that day His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives…” Zechariah 14:4″
