To The Mama of The Kid in the Gorilla Cage

My first thoughts were:
I was glad the child was alright.
I was very sorry the gorilla had to be shot.
My first thoughts were that the mom hadn’t been paying close enough attention to her child.
Those were my first thoughts.
Shortly after I thought that child are fast and DO get away at times.
I can’t say mom wasn’t at fault because I wasn’t there.
I DO KNOW ONE THING. THE CHILD’S LIFE CAME BEFORE THE GORILLA’S.
I am amazed many of the posts that have been written.
Shame on us : the American People.

I said it before: let the perfect parents cast the first stone, and I don’t think they will, anyway. There isn’t a parent out there who hasn’t had a panicked moment at what almost happened, and they don’t tell anyone because they’re mortified it happened and afraid of admitting it, maybe even to themselves. A three-year-old boy? They don’t stop for a second. And who says the area was as secure as it was supposed to be, anyhow? Was it aging and falling apart? This was a terrible thing, but terrible things happen, and better we hug our children than blame strangers based on information we got in a news story.

    1. I can’t believe all the posts still going on about the incident.
      Hugs
