Planning 101: How to Be More Intentional with Your Time – Intentional By Grace

Without my “WHY,” I don’t have a reason to plow through when the going gets tough; I can throw in the towel and not think twice about giving up.

But if I have a biblical conviction on WHY I should do something, in this case plan my time wisely, I’m more likely to stick with it.Because even though I love to plan, I don’t always do it well or even follow through with the plans I make.

Start over!” So many voices. They mean well, but every time someone tells me what they think we should do, my anxiety level increases and a knot forms in my stomach. The Verses of the Day:

I encourage you to choose which verse you’d like to memorize or meditate on.  The printable below includes all 5 verses of the day — for the entire week!  Print and cut them out and put them in the bathroom, kitchen, beside your bed and computer and use them for meditation throughout the week.

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. – Joshua 1:8

Becoming a Modern Day Proverbs 31 Woman • Hilary Bernstein

Depending on how much you like – or dislike – housework, you may admire or disdain the Proverbs 31 woman.

Some Christian women despise the description found in Proverbs 31:10-31. If you’re not familiar with her, the Proverbs 31 woman works hard … and it seems like she does everything well. In an age of comparison, it can be easy to feel inadequate when you read about a biblical superwoman.

I challenge you to take a different approach, though.Instead of focusing on how you can never measure up to her, look at her as an excellent biblical description of what women can do. Women can work hard and succeed. Women can be excellent wives and mothers. Women can act as the very strong and capable backbone of their families.

Giving Thanks for the Ordinary

November 3, 2015 by Courtney

The 6th Annual “Making Your Home a Haven” series has come to an end, but I don’t want to stop building on the foundation we have already set.

So while our candles are going…
and the soft music is playing…
and the fun mom is smiling…
and the tasty smells are lofting through the air from dinner in the oven…
let’s add in “Giving Thanks”!

In November in America, we celebrate the holiday of Thanksgiving, so it is fitting that we apply 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 in our homes this month.  It says:

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”.

It needs to be a choice. You can talk to God anywhere and at any time.)
We are human and we get UPTIGHT at times.
It is OK.

Just ask forgiveness.
Let your family know you are sorry.
Keep a Faithful Aroma in your home – and try these amazing Pumpkin Pie Cupcakes
