Women of the Bible Study: Ruth – Cooking Up Faith

Cooking Up Faith:

Women Of The Bible Series

During the time of the judges, there was a famine in the land. A man named Elimelech left Bethlehem with his wife, Naomi, and two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, to live in the land of Moab for a while.
Moab was a land of pagan people who worshiped idols and did not follow the One true God.
A woman named Ruth lived in Moab and was living in this type of sinful culture against God. She met one of Naomi’s sons and married him. Naomi’s other son married a Moabite woman as well, named Orpah.
