by Melanie Rainer on December 06, 2016

Welcome to the JellyTelly 5 Minute Family Devotional! We’re excited to journey through the Christmas season with you and your family as we learn all about the holiday and its many traditions. Check out all of the Big Questions About Christmas Devotionals here.

The videos from this devotional plan come from the movie Why Do We Call It Christmas?, which you can stream on JellyTelly or purchase on DVD!

The history of Christmas trees is truly fascinating! A missionary named Boniface started the tradition in ancient Germany. Learn more by watching the 5 Minute Family Devotional above, and get even more details in this blog post.

Today’s free printable is a Christmas tree coloring page! Download it here.

My real name is Debra (Debbie Sue). Sarah is a nickname given to me in high school. My husband has always called me that so here in Florida It's all I am known by. I was born and raised in Illinois. My son and I moved to Colorado in 1982. I taught school for 17 years. Then I ran a homeschooling/preschool/daycare until 2006 when I moved to Florida after my son, Bobby died suddenly. He was almost 26. Danny and I live and work at a state park here. I miss the mountains and climate of Colorado. I miss snow and the four seasons. I miss Bobby.

Please Comment. I don't care how long or how short. I want to hear from you.
