The 12 Days Of Christmas Style Series
By The Happy Housie
It’s a really happy Friday around here because it’s the start of our Christmas holidays this afternoon. Although I love my “day” job as a teacher, it will be awesome to have the extra time at home with my boys. We are planning a cookie bake-a-thon already for tomorrow!

Are you all prepared for Christmas? We have a few things to finish up still; but our decorating is done. If you’ve had a chance to take any of our Christmas room tours then you may have noticed it’s got a cabin-chic kind of vibe this year. And for the past week, I’ve been enjoying taking in everyone’s amazing Christmas home tours. There are so many incredible styles out there and beautifully decorated homes for the holidays. It seems like it’s the time of year when everyone goes ALL OUT! So I’ve started a fun little 12 Days of Christmas Style Series where each day I’m featuring stunning inspiration, decor, and DIYs from one particular Christmas Decor Style.

This week I’ve shared…

12 Days of Christmas Style Series
Classic Red and White Christmas part of the 12 Days of Christmas Style Series

Something about the crisp combination of red and white just screams Christmas. Especially since it is often mixed with hits of natural greenery. Such a fresh, cheery, and pretty way to steer your Christmas decor, a Classic Red and White Christmas Style is one of my favourites.

Christmas Style Series Rustic Christmas Cabin-Chic Christmas Decor

Cabin-chic. Is that really at style?! It’s rustic. Natural. Earthy. Cabin-y. But with pretty added in…Think cozy cabin in the woods meets classic meets farmhouse. Ralph Lauren or upscale Ski Lodge. Rustic Winter Woodland. And what else feels more cozy then a pretty cabin in the woods… snow gently falling… a fireplace roaring? Perfect for the holidays! Cabin-Chic Christmas Style

All White Christmas Style Series

Right now we actually have a lovely skiff of snow covering the ground all around us. It’s such a rarity around here; and it adds such a beautiful Christmassy feel to everything. I can really understand the appeal of an all white Christmas style. It feels fresh, crisp, wintery, and calm.

Farmhouse Christmas Style Decor DIYs and Inspiration

Farmhouse Style is everywhere these days, thanks in part to the huge success of Chip and Jo-Anna Gaines and Fixer Upper Style. But we can’t forget that farmhouse style; and farmhouse Christmas style, actually has deep roots. Like, really deep roots. And the key elements of a Farmhouse Christmas Style are collected, affordable, vintage, and handmade.

I hope you enjoy perusing these gorgeous Christmas Styles as much as I have enjoyed putting them together! And they will continue each day for the next 8 days leading up to Christmas!

In case you missed my own Christmas Tour and shares last week…

This week, being the last week of school before the holidays, was a little hectic but made worse by the fact that the cold I’ve been battling for a few weeks returned with a horrendous vengeance. So I’m also looking forward to the extra time for some rest, ahead.

I wish you a relaxing weekend and some amazing time with friends and family as Christmas Day quickly approaches!
