Tools And Resources Used With The Good Morning Girls Bible Studies
Women Living Well And Good Morning Girls.
From Sarah : We begin this study this coming MONDAY, March 13th.
I am looking forward to sharing it with YOU here and in MY BIBLE STUDY.
Both journals have an identical interior. My hope is that we will not only get into the Word ourselves but also get our sons and daughters into the Word as well. Let’s disciple the next generation!
Inside the journals you will find:
*An Introduction to the Book of Luke
*An explanation of how to use the signature S.O.A.K. method of the GMG’s
*The GMG Coloring Chart
* The Verse of the Day each day
*A Reflection Question for each day
* Blank space for SOAKing each chapter of the Book of Luke
This companion Journal is NOT required to join us.
If you are new, welcome to Good Morning Girls! We are Reading Through the Bible – one chapter a day – five days a week.
To keep track of all of the books you have completed use this printable below. Notice there are no dates on any of our reading plans so anyone can join us anytime.

This is a wonderful method that slows us down
and helps us soak in every single word.
Here’s what it looks like in my Bible and some of yours.
Still not sure how this all works? Check Out The VIDEO IN THIS LINK :
Here are the highlighters, pens and pencils I mentioned in the video:
Highlighters -> Acid Free – Bible Hi-Glider
Fine Line Non-bleeding Pens – Micron Archival Ink and Multi-Colored Gel Pens
Colored Pencils – Crayola Twistables and Crayola Colored Pencils
I use the ESV Inductive Study Bible as my personal study Bible.
Here’s the Free Printable Short Journal for Luke
(This is for those who are not purchasing the Paperback Journal. This is not the same as the Paperback Journal on Amazon – this eJournal has been created for low-cost printing on a home printer and does not include the Introduction to 1 Samuel, Verses of the Day or Reflection questions.)
Invite your sons and daughters!
Just like us – our children NEED to be in God’s Word daily. For Children ages 5-12 – check this out!
Pat Schwenk, from ForTheFamily.org, has created an easy and meaningful way to teach your kids the book of Luke. The Dig for Kids is a great resource for families because it makes teaching children the Bible simple, fun, and interactive!
Each lesson is just one page that contains four main parts:
The Map – The Map is the overview of each lesson. It will tell you as a parent and your child what you will be studying.
The Dig – The Dig is the main passage of the Bible you will be reading. There are typically three or four review questions that will help with discussion and review.
The Treasure – The Treasure is the big idea of the passage you have just studied. Simply put, it is what you want your child to remember in one sentence.
The Display – Archaeologists go on a dig, find a treasure, and then put it on display for all to see. This is the basic idea behind the Display. It helps your child live out what he or she has just learned.
Early on in The Dig you will meet a character named Doc. He will be your expert and experienced tour guide. Through each Dig, Doc will help guide a child systematically through books of the Bible.
Throughout this study of Luke, parents and children will discover who Jesus is, how He lived, what He taught and why it matters for us today!
The Dig is perfect for moms (and dads) to use with your little ones, alongside your own personal study, through the book of Luke!
Take your little ones on this journey with you. You will be blessed!
