Follow To Further Study The Book Of Luke With Your Family

We have found it comforting as a family, sitting down and reading each day. Some expected trials and attacks have hit the family, but it seems as if our family of eight is beginning to take the shape of a small church, akin to what we read about in the Book of Acts.

If I am being honest, as a task, it’s easy to sit down and read together as a family. What is difficult is living in obedience to God’s word daily as a husband, parent and small business owner. I find difficultly in leading my family in the daily concerns of life and maintaining focus and trust in the Lord. Without a doubt this act of “Leading by Reading” has relieved my burden as a husband and parent tremendously. The time I spend early in the morning preparing the questions for my family can be tedious, but over time I’ve really come to enjoy it.

We really enjoy seeing our children retain what we read and that more than makes up for the effort put in. Honesty, that is more of a bonus compared to how I am personally benefiting. We are excited to share the questions with you, in order that you can experience the joys that have brought us going through the process. It’s been nearly a year since we have made a point to sit down as a family and read the Word of God everyday as a family.
