I need motivation.
I always get asked what motivates me to keep exercising and the truth is I get days where I’d rather be laying in bed eating a family sized pack of crisps just like everyone else. Motivation will only take me so far, what keeps me working out every day is routine.
When I first started exercising I scheduled an hour twice a week in the evenings when the kids were in bed that was just for me. I had a young baby and a toddler so that hour was pure indulgence, even though I was just in my bedroom sweating along to a workout DVD for that hour I was me again. The adrenaline boost afterwards was so addictive that before long I was exercising three times a week.
