Blog – Grasping Grace In the Moment

Grasping Grace In The Moment :Blog

We’ve all been there. Those moments when we feel like we can’t take another step, paralyzed by fear, overwhelmed by the activities of the day, wishing for just one more hour in this 24 hour period called a day, and trying to figure out the next step so not to fall in a hole.  It is precisely at these times we need to turn our thoughts to God, stop and be still before Him. This is what Grasping Grace in the Moment is all about. Finding God’s grace in every situation, clinging to Him with all of our might even if it is only by a thread at times, and holding on to Him when everything else seems to be crumbling around us.   Christ alone is where we find hope, joy and peace.   It is not found in our circumstances, people or things.

My real name is Debra (Debbie Sue). Sarah is a nickname given to me in high school. My husband has always called me that so here in Florida It's all I am known by. I was born and raised in Illinois. My son and I moved to Colorado in 1982. I taught school for 17 years. Then I ran a homeschooling/preschool/daycare until 2006 when I moved to Florida after my son, Bobby died suddenly. He was almost 26. Danny and I live and work at a state park here. I miss the mountains and climate of Colorado. I miss snow and the four seasons. I miss Bobby.

Please Comment. I don't care how long or how short. I want to hear from you.
