My Mood Improved As The Day Went On. From Sarah: My Mood started of pretty grim today. (Wednesday) It was worse yesterday. (Thursday)
I have been fighting a serious depression for almost a year. Little things that Danny does or says really upset me because of the things he did early this year. I pray continually for forgiveness. It’s not coming. Hard to forgive someone when THEY AREN’T SORRY. I am BITTER and I HATE that. We actually started celebrating my birthday on Tuesday, when we went to town. Danny knew I had been craving Mexican so we went to a Mexican cafe we had not been to.
Tuesday : December 10th. A few things happened before we got to the cafe. I don’t feel like going into them but they put me in more of a bad mood than I had been. Sadly, the Mexican cafe just WASN’T very good. Neither of us are really hard to please as long as the wait staff is friendly and our drinks get refilled. We figure it would be hard to mess up Mexican food. Overall, there just wasn’t much favor to most of the food we tried. When we were served the salsa and chips, I was ready to dive in. AND ALMOST BROKE A TOOTH. So did Danny. They were really hard.
We left most of the chips. Something we seldom do. The salsa was ok. Especially when I added it to my guacamole. As Danny said “It needs GARLIC.”
Surprisingly, I was in a better mood. We actually laughed during the meal.
I had been looking forward to the beans and rice and the guacamole. I can never get enough guac and I never have to share it. Danny hates it as much as I love it. There was no flavor to the beans and rice. The ONLY thing I tasted in the guac was avocado. So that was ok. I added the salsa to it. Sorry I didn’t get a good photo of the beans and rice. The beans were runny. the rice tasted like regular rice. No seasonings that I could tell. Not sure where the color came from. We were laughing at this time.
Quietly, of course.
Tortillas for my fajitas. They looked good but I didn’t eat them. I have gotten use to eating my fajitas without tortillas.
The guacamole.
Danny ended up eating part of mine. The fajitas had Stead, Chicken And Shrimp in it. Plus Onions And Peppers. They were really good.
The following photos were taken Tuesday night at home. Danny decided I needed to open my gift.
I have to admit I am very glad I did.
I love Elvis. I love Christmas. I Love Christmas Music. I Love Lights. Especially Christmas ones.
MOST OF ALL, ANYTIME DANNY ACTUALLY BUYS ME ANYTHING : I GET EXCITED! EXCEPT FOR THE FIRST FEWS YEARS DANNY HASN’T BOUGHT ME MUCH EXCEPT FOR ONE YEAR WHEN WE FIRST STARTED RUNNING TRAINS.
There were way too many birthdays and Christmases when I didn’t have anything to open .
Graceland
Plays His Christmas Songs.
We aren’t sure what happened to it but my OTHER birthday gift WAS NOT DELIVERED. Believe me, I would have noticed it.
My Favorite Song HAS ALWAYS BEEN Can’t help Falling In Love With You. Since I was 2 years old. ONLY HIS VERSION.
Danny’s way of saying that he loves me… His words would be nice.
While we were unboxing my gift ,Baby Girl and Vittles got to play.
Vittle’s is 10 years old.
I will share my actual birthday in Part 2. Danny has been trying to talk to me since I was half way through this. I stopped for awhile but he is in a talkative mood. So I have been trying to write this for the last 2 hours. I give up.

Your Mexican food looks good. We have a lot of restaurants here like that, and some are better than others, but still it’s my favorite type of food. Sweet photos of your kitty and bunny! 🙂
