Typically, the best day to start would be Sundays or Mondays. The beginning of the week.
Everyone always wants to start their New Year’s Resolutions on New Years Day. One problem with that is it is still a holiday.
I believe the best day is when it works out best for you. Advent started late this year. I started some activities earlier.
I did our candle lighting a few days late since we were gone that Sunday. I do the same with my Bible Studies.
I will post for what ever day it starts but I may not start that day or that week. I have also been known to start them early.
It’s the same for anything you want to start.

Start eating right today if that work for you. Or wait til tomorrow or next week. But on the other hand……DO NOT PROCRASTINATE.
