Monday, November 2, 2020 / I Am Thankful I Haven’t Had To Be Hospitalized Yet

    I have been sick for the last 6 weeks. At first I was able to pretend I wasn’t feeling as bad as I was. We were in the middle of our vacation when I started my lupus flare. Add in sinusitis and allergy problems and I have been a mess. I have had days when I barely managed to get out of bed. Today is day 3.
    Hard to be thankful right now and yet, I really have a lot to be thankful for.
    Not up to going into anything else right now.
    I am thankful I am home. A hospital is not the best place to be right now.

    My real name is Debra (Debbie Sue). Sarah is a nickname given to me in high school. My husband has always called me that so here in Florida It's all I am known by. I was born and raised in Illinois. My son and I moved to Colorado in 1982. I taught school for 17 years. Then I ran a homeschooling/preschool/daycare until 2006 when I moved to Florida after my son, Bobby died suddenly. He was almost 26. Danny and I live and work at a state park here. I miss the mountains and climate of Colorado. I miss snow and the four seasons. I miss Bobby.
