Quieting Your Heart For The Holidays/ Update from Sarah On Week 1 And Life In Our Neck Of The Woods/ Week 2 / By Time Warp Wife

From Sarah :
I am starting this wonderful study today. I wasn’t prepared for it when Advent started last week. I could blame it on the fact we were in Plant City until Tuesday of the first week. I had plenty of time to get ready for it here. I could have shared the first week on time but I chose family (In my case , Danny) and held off. Lighting Advent candles at a B & B could have been done. We had the whole house to ourselves. I still chose not to. I wasn’t ready (in my heart ) to begin.
My HEART WASN’T QUIET.
MY HEART hasn’t been QUIET in a very long time.
I was praying that our mini- vacation would bring us closer and in a way it did. Yet, NOT IN THE WAYS I NEEDED IT TO.

Sarah Sue (Sarah's Attic Of Treasures)

Earlier this morning at Lake Kissimmee State Park. Getting ready for the hurricane.
Homemade Mac and cheese. For Danny.
I made Danny Macaroni and cheese. I wish I would have made more of the sauce. It was all Keto and I never even realized it. Coconut flour. Coconut oil. Kerrygold butter. Heavy Whipping Cream. Cream cheese. Plus seasonings. I don't have any white flour or any bad oils here. I could have poured it on my steak.
There is NOTHING special about these selfies except my face is so clear. After 45 plus years of butterfly rashes from Lupus and dry scaly skin, my face remains clear. I have had a couple of weeks (once) when I had a few breakouts. In May. I was having Migraines. My dad died. I have been extremely stressed for the past 6 months. Angry and bitter. My face has glowed. Eating Keto/Heavy Carnivore. Even having a few cheats. Loving it.
Not the best photos. Too lazy to get up and go outside. Not just lazy. It was 94 when this was taken.
Watching the magic happen. Tea, unsweetened almond milk and HWC.
Eating better quality meats but will gladly eat a cheat hotdog or 3.
Danny and I are both enjoy having good internet speeds. He is actually spending more time with me, either in the kitchen or in the living room watching movies again. Streaming. I am also setting up work areas. Granted, the kitchen ones get put up every night. I keep the table clean, most of the time.
I admit I Fast forward a few parts, but I really enjoy this new series. New to me. Just started watching.
Anyone else out there excited about the movie version of Downtown Abbey coming? I was a late convert. Only because we couldn't get reception.
Another storm is brewing.
Following some new accounts today.
The road home. Collier Farm Road. Rolling Meadows Ranch
Another rainy afternoon. Sitting in the kitchen waiting for Danny to get off work.
Loved our family time on Monday. Danny was off. He brought his tablet into the kitchen to get on Hangouts. Instead of going back to his computer room and hiding, he did in the kitchen with me all afternoon and evening. Really enjoyed it. Just being together, like we use to be. Simple. Fun.
Our lunch date. El Grande (Taco Bowl) with chili, chicken and steak plus toppings. Danny ate some of the steak, chicken and salsa. Really good.
Danny and I watching what use to be a bank building being torn down.
I never thought I would say it, but I really miss the John Deere. Danny mowed today. He spent almost 2 hours mowing our yard. There's a section he didn't get in back. It took 2x's as long because it was so high and WET. He had to stop mowing because it poured.
Having fun.
