Weekly Truth – She Reads Truth

Memorizing Scripture is one of the best ways to carry God-breathed truth, instruction, and reproof wherever we go. This week, we’re memorizing the first four beatitudes (and next week we’ll memorize the last four!).

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
—Matthew 5:3-6

Write this passage down and post it on your mirror or at your desk, in your car or on the fridge—anywhere you’ll see it often. Save the image below as your phone’s lock screen so you can read these words of truth throughout the day.

His Word, Your Heart – (in)courage

Use your smart phone. Record your verses, so you can review them anytime, anywhere. Set an alarm to remind you. Use the Notes app to write them out.Aim for one verse a week. It’s a modest goal, but if you learn just one a week, that’s fifty verses a year (with a little vacation time thrown in).Say the verse aloud. The best way to make the words stick is to recite them, even if the Lord is the only One listening.Write and rewrite the verse, as many times as you can fit it on a sheet of paper. Highlight the key words. Use different color pens. Add doodles.Draw a picture to illustrate the verse you’re memorizing. Stick figures are fine. The idea is to create a unique image for each verse

You’re God’s Masterpiece – Holley Gerth

“You are my masterpiece.” -God (read Gen. 1:31; Ps. 139:13–18; 2 Cor. 5:17; Eph. 2:10) I recently returned to the place online where I asked the question, “What lies are women tempted to believe about who we are?” As I scrolled back through the answers, I saw all over again how many expressed, “I’m just…
