Everything Happens For A Reason + A Post Of My Own .

3 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

I Am Thankful For An Awesome Event And Being Able To Rest Afterwards – Day 15

I was the go to person for getting everything set up at the park.
Our volunteer co-ordinator made arrangements for the actual event. I am very glad I didn’t have to. Sometimes it is nice to be in the background getting it done and not having to be the person in the spotlight. She dealt with All the media.
Even Danny was left out of most of it.
We got the BALL rolling and worked on it for 3 years behind the scenes.
It was wonderful though for it to be acknowledged officially.

Wildlife Watching | Visit Central Florida

In Lake Kissimmee State Park, one of Polk County’s three state parks, you might spot a wide variety of birds ranging from bald eagles to turkey and bobwhites. In the parks’ lake and picnic areas, spot wading birds and snail kites, as well as song bird migrants and crested caracara. With more than 200-species of birds, this state park is one of the best birding areas in central Florida.

Lake Kissimmee State Park – Florida’s Natural Wonders

While it was definitely worth the drive to experience these scenic trails, there’s much more to this park. For instance, it’s bordered on 3 sides by 3 different lakes: Lake Kissimmee to the east, Lake Rosalie to the west, and Tiger Lake to the south. All 3 lakes are connected and are very popular for fishing and paddling. The 10-mile Buster Island Paddling Trail is the paddlers’ equivalent of the hike I took. Kayak, canoe and paddleboat rentals are available.

What Did I Do While They Fought The Wildfire? Written Monday.

I watched it rain while calmly writing. I sat in my recliner and enjoyed the rain. And tried to ignore the thunder and lightning. Watched the construction trucks leave one by one. Listened to the radio while they worked the fire. Knowing where they were and what they were doing. I miss being there. I…

Rain And Open Windows
