Prayer Journals- Rachel Wojo

Yesterday I had the privilege of leading a prayer journaling session at the Church Next Door in Galloway, OH. The theme of this event was Oasis: A Place for Women to Be Refreshed. The three hour event consisted of a prayer walk, breakout sessions, fresh veggies, fruit, cheese, and fruit-infused waters, worship and a closing session by Pastor Jennifer Jackson. I loved every moment of the time we all spent together. Each attendee was given a free printable prayer journal to take home and enjoy!

I had the privilege of sharing my testimony and a few of the prayers God has answered over the years. I love any opportunity to share what God has done and is doing in my life! He is good. All the time. The current monthly Bible reading plan is infusing daily praise for him into my life and I absolutely love it.

This prayer journal including 20 prompts was given to each lady in attendance. I created this booklet as both a guide and a journal. The first few pages include the tips I offered and the remaining part of the booklet allows for one prompt per page with space to journal. I always want folks to have a tool they can take home and use to implement what was taught during the session. (I’m sorry that this photo is so dark! I took it late Thursday night when I was experimenting with the printing of the journal.)

One of my favorite things about speaking is meeting readers! Jackie first found me through Pinterest. She drove up from Cincinnati to be a part of this prayer journaling session and it was SO lovely to meet her for the first time and chat with her for a few minutes. (Jackie, I hope it’s ok that I posted this! )

I brought my journaling Bibles along so folks could take a look at those! Be sure to check the left side column for my schedule if you’re interested in upcoming Bible journaling sessions.

We ended the afternoon with a beautiful worship time and my friend, Jennifer, spoke on the true Oasis of our lives, Jesus. So much of what she discussed hit home for me, but one of the things she mentioned about sitting still in the presence of Jesus and inviting him to come and sit with her awhile was both very precious and practical to me. I treasure the thought of letting him know that I am listening and want to invite him to be with me in the still moments.

FREE Printable Prayer Journal for You

As soon as I posted the photo of the prayer journals on Instagram, a friend asked if she could have one. And I knew ya’ll would love them too, so I had planned to post the free printable prayer journal download to share with you today. Hooray! I’m so excited.

So here’s the scoop with it. There are two different downloads. One is the exact same booklet we used to print for the ladies at this session. It prints out in booklet form and is stapled together in the middle, then folded in half. I know not all of you will have this printing capability, so I also wanted to offer a straightforward prayer journal printable with the same content, only it prints one side only.

This is perfect for your ladies’ group, small group, Bible study gals, or teens and tweens!

Ok, Friends! Share with your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and loved ones. This is my gift to you and I long to see you grow closer to Jesus. That’s what prayer journaling is all about! Enjoy.

By his grace,

Rachel

I have kept a prayer journal since I was a teenager.
Mainly for family, friends and acquaintances.
Now I really need to expand it.
