While this is an amalgam of previous Thanksgiving posts, I hone every year. I know you have your favorites! We all do. But trust me… add a few of these (the cocktail and the turkey in particular.. and the dips… and, well, you know… ) and you will have the best dinner ever. Hell, just […]
I don’t get Sweet Potato Casserole….like…is it dessert, dinner, or fancy baby food? If it were up to me, I’d ban it completely from the Thanksgiving dinner menu, and replace it with these Sweet Potato Butter Spirals. “We’re all guilty of staying in our comfort zones when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner. I get it – no one wants to mess up the most important meal of the year! From Sarah : I have a confession. I love dressing /stuffing. I don’t care what you call it. I always make my mom’s recipe. ALWAYS! It’s a wonderful bread and herb dressing. Lots of flavor. I also make a corn and oyster casserole/ dressing. Both Danny and I love it. For our Thanksgiving meal at the park, I make a combination cornbread/ bread dressing. This one changes from year to year. Sometimes, I make 2 different ones. We have Southern And Northern Staff And Volunteers. I am to please.
